Dental Implants & Full-Mouth Rehabilitation
A dental implant is the closest replacement to a natural tooth: a titanium fixture placed in the jawbone that supports a crown, bridge or full-arch prosthesis. Unlike a conventional bridge, an implant doesn't require cutting the adjacent healthy teeth.
As a surgical specialist, Dr. Pathak handles the full spectrum of implant dentistry — straightforward single-tooth implants, immediate placement at the time of extraction, and complex cases needing bone grafting, sinus floor elevation or ridge augmentation.
Treatment is planned digitally on a CBCT scan, so the implant position, size and final tooth are decided before surgery begins. Most implants are placed under local anaesthesia in under an hour.

Frequently asked questions
How long does an implant take from start to finish?
A typical case takes 3–4 months: the implant integrates with bone for 8–12 weeks before the final crown is fitted. In selected cases an immediate temporary tooth can be given on the day of surgery.
Am I too old for implants?
There is no upper age limit. What matters is general health and bone quality, both of which are assessed before treatment. Controlled diabetes or blood pressure is not a barrier.
How long do implants last?
With good oral hygiene and regular check-ups, implants routinely last decades. The single biggest risk factor for failure is smoking.
